Cavatelli and Broccoli


Broccoli florets that have just been picked out of the ground are blanched, quickly sauteed in garlic and olive oil, then combined with hot pasta and seasoned with salt and red pepper flakes. To bring out the fresh, crisp flavors, just a tiny bit of Parmesan cheese is required.
