Instructions:
Warm up the oven to 350F 175C and put paper liners in cupcake and cake pans
Put the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large bowl and mix them together until they are light and fluffy
One at a time, add the eggs and beat well after each one
The vanilla extract should be added
Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a different bowl
Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, mixing them in with the milk every so often
Start with the dry ingredients and end with the milk
Dont mix any further than that
To make a rainbow of colors, put equal amounts of batter into different bowls and color each one with a different food coloring
Put about two thirds of the colored batter into each cupcake liner
Put it in the oven and bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean
Pour the rest of the colored batter into cake pans that have been prepared for the Raggedy Ann cake
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes
Allow it to totally cool down
Put rainbow sprinkles on top of the cakes and cupcakes after they are all cool
You can use any frosting you like
To make the smash cake, cut off a small piece of one of the cupcakes and shape it into a cake
Decorate it however you like
If you want to add a decorative touch, you can put a Raggedy Ann figurine on top of the main cake
