Roasted Fig Tart with Honey and Mascarpone

Fetish Scene Milton Keynes

Indulge in the rich flavors of roasted figs paired with creamy mascarpone cheese, all nestled on a flaky puff pastry crust. Drizzled with honey and topped with crunchy almonds, this tart is a delightful balance of sweet and savory.

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 pound fresh figs, stems removed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions:

Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C

On a floured surface, roll the puff pastry into a rectangle

Place the dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

With a knife, cut a 1-inch border around the edges of the pastry

Be careful not to cut all the way through

Ivory the inside of the dough with a fork

Place the fig halves on top of the pastry, inside the lines you made

Put honey on top of the figs

The dough should be golden brown and puffy after 20 to 25 minutes in the oven

Mix the mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth while the tart is baking

Remove the tart from the oven and let it cool down a bit when its done

Spread the mascarpone mix in the middle of the tart

Toast some almonds and sprinkle them on top

Before serving, sprinkle with fresh mint leaves
