Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions:
Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper
Dip the chicken pieces into the beaten eggs, then coat them with cornstarch
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat
Fry the chicken pieces until they are golden brown and crispy, about 5-6 minutes per side
In a separate saucepan, combine orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger
Bring to a simmer
Stir in the cornstarch-water mixture and cook until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes
Toss the fried chicken pieces in the orange sauce until evenly coated
Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving
